Some people reckon that Dom fancies Matt. I'm one of them. Some people reckon Matt fancies Dom, and some reckon that it's a two way thing.
We'll never hear the truth from their mouths, because no one in their right state of mind would ever dare to ask them, but we can certainly theorise the possibilities of the reality beneath this myth.
So I have compiled a collection of information tidbits to help fuel this outrageous and possibly incorrect speculation.
First we have a humourous analysis of 'Supermassive Black Hole', detailing the possible underlying, (homo)sexual connotations of the lyrics. Written by Doctor Pluging1, Supermassive Black Hole = S&M
Here are some relevant quotes from Doctor Pluging1's analysis. Parts to which we must pay particular attention have been underlined:

You may also notice how Dominic's drumming is quite different to his usual style. This signifies that he too is exploring new ground and is being sucked into the SuperMassive. The style of drumming is also electronic, perhaps a drum machine is being used. If this is the case, what has Dom been doing throughout the song? I can only hope that it did not involve ice cubes, candles and Matt's nipples.....

Here is a quote from i have bellamyitis (not to be confused with i have bellamy's tits), stating how she first thought that the two men in question were in fact gay lovers:

Why did Dom need an injection in his bum? Was it to cure an elusive STI that he caught whilst frolicking with Matt? Or is it contraception to safeguard Matt from his magical, man-impregnating juice? And why as Matt there to watch this?

Matt shies away from asking this question because he knows that Dom will jump right in there and say 'yes', subsequently jeopardising the containment of their dirty little secret.

Dom seemed rather quick off the mark to answer this question. He added an irrelevant statement, that 'they are his bitches'. If it is Dom who is attracted to Matt, and the feeling is not returned, is he trying to tell Matt? Is he laying down clues? Perhaps the feelings are returned, and it’s just too much for the poor bugger to hide it completely, letting slip some very, very subtle hints.

Matt: Then I'd let you die.
The fact that Matt says he would be willing to suck venom out of Dom’s arse suggests some kind of physical and/or emotional connection between the two. This could indicate a deeper bond. Love tears down many physical boundaries, though obviously not that of oral sex, as Matt states that he would allow Dom to perish had he been required to extract venom from a bite on the penis. Dom had suggested the bite on the penis. This quote could indicate that Dom has stronger sexual feelings towards Matt, whilst Matt returns a lesser form of these feelings, which are more emotional rather than physical.

Could this mean that Matt and Dom have partaken in anal sex? Later in the answer Matt states that they are all very good with their money and give to charities, but Matt's initial, swift answer was Dom. If he later says that they are good with their cash i.e. they are not tight bastards, why did he say Dom? Perhaps when gave his answer, he was thinking of the question in a different, sexual context. His laugh could be one of genuine amusement, or of nerves that he may have let slip another hint of their dirty little secret.

Personally I find this to be a significant quote. Why did Matt steal this question out of Dom's glass? Did he want to hear Dom's answer? He pushes Dom to extend his poor, stuttered answer which is reminiscent of Vicky Pollard's 'yer but no but'. Is he analysing Dom? In regards to the 'Dom secretly fancies Matt' strand of the theory as a whole, is this an example of Matt trying to find out the truth himself?
The fact that Dom has seen Matt in womens clothes strikes as a slightly odd one, as Matt has revealed in previous interviews that he only dresses up behind closed doors. Was Dom spying, attempting to catch that once-in-a-lifetime glimpse of Matt in a bra and skirt? In response to that, Matt says 'Do I?' This could be a form of denial, or a test... trying to find out if Dom was really spying during the secret dressing-up sessions, or if Dom had seen him acting in a very idiotic, drunken manner involving womens clothes, and event that he may not in fact remember.
Dom reveals that he has tried to kiss Matt, and that Matt does not like this. This shows that to a certain extent Dom does have a physical attraction towards Matt, and yet he was denied his pleasure. His perception of being denied his pleasure is that Matt doesn't like to be kissed by him, could it in fact be that Matt his denying him because he does not want to spill his own feelings? That he does not want to reveal his lust for Dom?
The truth is out there kids, and it will be unveiled.

the whole matt/dom thing has been around for many a year
personally its all bollocks. All male good friends have seen each other naked (well I wouldn't say all, but they are around each other alot and in confined places whilst touring ie dressing rooms and tourbuses). They have been mates for years.
Blokes tend to once in their life dressed up as a lass/in womens clothes for one reason or the other. Either for a drunken bet or otherwise.
They just joke around. I have noticed that they do spark off each other in interviews and things. Spurring each other on and making each other laugh whilst Chris sits back and listens. Possibly saying to himself "shut the feck up" or "get back you twat you don't know what yer doing"

I've been quite surprised at how many people I know have said that they've walked in on heir boyfriends/husbands trying on their underwear and high heels, so I know it's not just a weird, drunken thing. Seems like a general man thing, heh, and I love it.
Anyway, I think I'm going to have to keep emphasising that this is just a joke thing for people to laugh about and play along with, after all we are in the 'Outweirding' board.

Matt is obsessed with Dom, that's all I know... Just kidding.
They are very close, that's true, closer than most males I know are with each other, but that's probably because they spend most of their time together, it's bound to happen.
Well, as a joke, there's more evidence, like, Matt always "drum-surfing" whenever he has the chance, both of them living together for while, always touching each other, always looking at each other, both of them sharing clothes all the time and so on...
Man, if I wasn't talking about Matt and Dom here, all of these "facts" could actually pass as suspicious behaviour.

there is a lot of evidence there to suggest that Dom and Matt have feelings for one another, although Doms are obviously stronger. It is my guess that the link between SMBH and S&M is actually Matt talking about how Dom treats him ;) I think there is a secret side to Dom, and that Matt knows about it oh so well

Haha, I'm not entirely sure if this is all serious, but made me laugh anyway!
Not a lot of people tend to get the gross out idea, where you and your best mate go down a road of convincing people you're gay, or just making comments till one of you cracks, most lines are just throwaways and not picked up when somthing's transcribed on the net.
ah well, nice work, and if you need it, I'm sure I can find someone in five minutes who given the oppourtunity would ask if they were attaracted to each other, fact is they'd either blank you/beat the crap out of you, so yeah...

I think it was something like antitetanic or maybe an anti-infection injection! but i remember some interviewer asked about bruises...and Matt said something like "yeah, i threw my guitar on Dom once, and he had to get an injection on his bum.." and told they made fun of him for quite a while...
