Well I guess I'm just fucked then cos none of that applies to me Other people believe in me plenty, but I just shurg it off. Doesn't make it any harder for them to believe in me. And I'm happy enough because the outcome is normally better than I expect since I set my standards kinda low. See, it all works out! Hahah.
When I first got into Radiohead, I listened so much. But as soon as I got past that "oh wow, this is new" stage, I got incredibly bored of them. Now I actually hate half of their stuff, and think half's alright, but there's only about 3 songs I actually love.

Mmm, I love Foo's. I've only grown to like them more with each album. Especially when In Your Honour came out. It was brilliant. I was blown away with it. I was kinda dissapointed with their newest at first, but it grew on me, and now I love that one too!
Still, to me nothing even comes close to been as good as Muse.

The Colour & The Shape will always be their best album. So yeah, their earlier work is still better. But I still love them loads, old and new. Sure they may not get better but they maintain a standard which I love, so it's all good.
Sometimes I feel like I'm a little too Muse obsessed but then I think.. that's not a bad thing haha.

I don't think I've gone a single day in just over 2 years without listening to them at all now, haha. Even if it's just a couple of songs I listen to them a bit every day. Usually too much. I've gone through an incredibly obsessive phase in the past 2 weeks though I'm hoping to cut some Muse out of my listening this week though. Not much, but just a bit. Listen to different bands a bit more. That's the only downside. I don't get to listen to other stuff enough.

Discovering Muse was the most important thing that's ever happened to me in terms of my music taste. It really altered how I saw/heard music from then on. But to "rediscover" them.. well, I just don't need to. I still get the same kick out of them as I did when I first heard them. And hearing new songs for the next album will provide plenty of excitement. So no, I don't miss that at all. I enjoy it plenty the way it is

Hmm, I did say that but I thought I'd said it to someone on msn, not in a thread, but maybe I was wrong haha. But yeah, the files are all there, I've heard it once, I can wait for the official release now.
I got into Muse in about 2005, properly. I liked TIRO and Hysteria back in 04 but never got into them more. 2005 was when I listened properly, and I've loved them since. Didn't get properly obsessed til early 2006 though. Still, before BH&R era though.
