hell, i have to write a text with the subject "one-way street" or "dead-end street" as a metaphor
That sounds quite interesting, especially since you can choose the format - a poem would probably work quite nicely. You can use something like life as being a dead-end street. Will be rather depressing though. I can also think that you can write quite an interesting text about those two as metaphors - it will take a bit of planning though.

I think I'm well prepared now. Though, imo, you must not learn everything by heart. You just have to learn the things of each slide what are important. That matters.

Eventually at that moment, you got to tell the whole story in your own words. Ah, well, we see how it will work out.

Edit: I'm off !

yeah, thats what i mean. i hate learning stuff by heart because then i feel hardly prepared. if you understand everything of what you want to talk about, youre well prepared and then you can just start talking:P thats how i like it

Bye Sofie and good luck with the presentation.

I agree; people often think memorizing is the way to go - but it is not - it is far better to actually understand exactly what it is what you are going to talk about. Having a few key words ready is also good because it focuses your thoughts.

Bye Sofie! Good luck!

yeah, thats the way to do it. but many people (also many in my class) always learn things by heart. you simply cant listen to someone talking about what he has learnt by heart. it gets incredibly hard to listen carefully

That's the advantage of guys or girls with short hair. It dries in seconds!

Oh yeah, I forgot the school terms are starting up again. Have a good first day back then Sara

I'm watching whatever's on atm, which currently is adverts , but before it was Jurrassic Park 3 I think.

Shorter hair is always nicer during summer - in winter you need a bit of fluff around your ears to keep them covered and warm!

I enjoyed Jurassic Park the first movie - where that T-Rex goes for the guy sitting on the loo - that was funny and gross all at the same time!
