Eh I've reverted to watching older shows because stuff that came out this year was pure rubbish (The Event).
Carnivale. Only 2 series, but that was a great show. If you liked Twin Peaks and Lost, I'd say you'd like this.

I'm watching through it all again.
The look of complete fear on Jack's face when he first sees Mr. Eko is awesome.

I have enjoyed The Event massively, in fact, it seems the only show worthy to compare with Lost in recent times to me...

It's the fact that he was probably the one guy in the whole show who wasn't really blatantly selfish during his off-island life. He tried to do good everywhere he went but just kept being manipulated and screwed over.
Thinking about his last thought... 'I don't understand' just...
Ugh

Yeah. It is really really sad. He was without a doubt the nicest character. I hate the way Jack treats him as well.
He was my favourite character from the beginning.

Same. Him and Desmond, from the moment they were on screen, I loved. Ben as well, even when he was Henry Gale

Ben got a bit lame mid S5- to back end of S6. Shame really.

That's because his influence waned. When Jacob remained faceless and the Man in Black was still Will Smith, he was a legend. I'll always remember him for season 2-4 (and a little of 5), not for the end of the show.

The Man Behind the Curtain epitomes everything I love about Ben.

Finished the whole lot now. Last episode made me well up.
For me, the best character was Vincent. He must have been really pissed off to not have been invited to the ending.

Yeah poor Locke. I still don't understand the whole smoke monster Locke thing. If the producers were so bent on keeping the character/face of Locke in the show (basing this on how heavily used the smoke version of him was), then why kill him in the first place?
