I'm half tempted to wait till May and just watch the whole season over 3 or 4 days...
...the fact that it been chosen makes me thing it`ll be pants and were getting NSC 2. - Me, about Survival.

I definitely wont be able to handle it!
I came into Lost 3 seasons late so it's how I watched the first 3 seasons. Impulse bought the Season 1 DVD set, the next week I bought the Season 2 one. Half watched Season 3 on the Sky One repeats half from downloads. Season 4 and 5 like normal people. I liked going "ooh, wtf?! must find out what happens next now!" and watching the next episode. I hate waiting a week.
That goes for pretty much every show though.

that's the beauty of watching a show as it comes out. It's all very well watching it in one big go but ultimately watching it weekly is far more exciting!

did this for the first 5 seasons. it was awesome, and i might have trouble doing it week to week with this season... but i'm sure it'll keep me interested and engaged with all the stuff that should happen.

Well it is an active demographic when you look at it... Mostly younger, 'tech savy' sci-fi loving geeks and voters, and millions of them. Its a fickle block of people.

here's a theory someone posted on my facebook wall... seems like it makes a ton of sense, but who knows if it's actually the real deal:
So the overriding theory that I had heard from alot of people (but initially zack) and that I really like is that the fake locke (and by extention the guy in the black who hates jacob in the opening flashback) is the black smoke. The theory is that he and jacob have been fighting for centuries based around how the island should be protected and utilized and everyone else is a pawn in their game. You may have noticed that at various points in the show they have played backgammon which is a base repesentation of light v. dark, good v. evil. This theory works when you look back on the season. When fake locke takes Ben to get judged fake locke goes away just as the smoke comes to tell Ben what he needs to do and comes back immediatly afterwards. In addition he essentially sets up Ben as his pawn exploiting the loophole and we already know that the Black smoke can take on the form of other people (and access their memories). Hope this helps.
