Man, that was fucking awesome. Yeah, the fall surviving was a bit lame, and the bomb exploding by a rock hitting it, but all in all, cant wait for season 6!!

My theory:
A lot of you probably got this anyway or at least considered it.
But would it not make sense if Locke actually turned out to be some sort of reincarnation of Jacob. That would answer his body still being in the coffin for starters. We already know that the island 'chose him'. So maybe the only way he can have full control of the island is to kill the original Jacob. Just a theory.
Anyway, aswesome episode. Bit surprised to see Juliet killed but they could have made a worse choice. Season 6 here we come!

I dont know who Moses is either.
I think the Alive Locke is the black mist. Probably what Moses is anyway. Where did you get that from? I heard it once in the finale, but not as a name for something.

it was a good end to the season.. Although I'd put money on the start of season 6 being Jack waking up at home, and at first it seems that it worked.. but then its shown to be incorrect

Nah, me just being stupid. Ben mentions Locke being brought to Jacob as if he were Moses, and then Locke gives Jacob "that" luck.
I've read a theory of Jacob being god and the guy on the beach being the devil. Which could be true. But I think it's the other way around.

Yeah, a lot of theories going on.
Some say the guy in black is the evil one, and he's "Esau". Apparently there are a lot of comparisons to the bible. In the bible, Jacob has a brother, Esau. Esau wants to kill him or something, be he can't. (Or I'm confusing with Abel and Caine, but there's definitely a thing about Jacob and his brother Esau)
The other thing is, the man in the beggining, shall we call him 'Man in Black', 'Flocke' (Fake Locke) or my favourite 'UNLocke', is probably the same crap that's been taking the form of Yemi, Christian, Boone, Alex and so on. Maybe he's able to posess the bodies of dead people in the Island? And it wouldn't be a big stretch to say he's actually Smokey, too.
As for Juliet, why wouldn't she be dead? She was almost dying down there. And why would they spend so much 'emotion' with that last goodbye with Sawyer just so she could survive? And the 'if the bomb blows, they all die' does not convince me, because the bomb was way underground, it's perfectly possible and probable they all survive up there.

i think it's pretty obvious they're alive. can't say the same Juliet sadly cause Jacob didn't find her special (which he is greatly mistaken anyways)

What gets me is the whole fake Locke situation. It's very similar to when Jack's dad was seen wandering around. Is there more than one of whatever makes dead people appear to come back to life and what on earth is it that does it? And also, i wonder what was so special about making Jack's dad come to life in the first place, i'm sure there's more to it than furthering the development of Jack really.

Yeah, but I guess in this case, it was just a part of the bomb, and it was used to neutralize an electromagnetic force. Therefore, I'm thinking in the logic of the writers, it won't be that destructive. It'll be destructive just to cause the death of the major character that, coincidentally, had the emotioned last goodbye. Besides, Juliet (the actress Elizabeth Michell) is the main character of a new series for next year, V. And that's the end of that, in my opinion. They can't be all dead, no more Lost. And Juliet can't be alive, it'd be emotion for nothing.

Theory that's been going on (all unofficial) is that the smoke monster did all that. Alex, Jack's dad, and even fake Locke. Smokey did it, some say. And smokey may be = guy in black in the beginning.
At first I didn't like this episode that much. But now I'm getting into the overall story, and it's getting interesting.

Hmmmmmmmm.....
The question is now whether Jacob was good or bad. And whether whoever Fake Locke is, is good, or whether he will do bad things now that Jacob's out of the picture. However when they were talking on the beach it seemed like Jacob was the more bad one, and the other guy was the more islandy one.
Though I did laugh when Juliet got pulled in by the chains, that was a bit lame.
I think they will survive, and Juliet might even survive (although that's unlikely because of what's been said above), because when Desmond turned the key in the hatch, that would have been the same bomb, right? And he was right next to it. Hmmmm...
It was good, but there have been better finales.

Nah, Juliet is finished. It was her destiny to detonate the bomb . It's why she was never able to leave the Island, something always stopped her.

Yes, indeed. We were lead to think Jacob was a cool guy so far. Plus, the obvious white versus black at the beginning. That would make Jacob easily the good guy, and the black/evil guy wants to kill him. However, we don't know yet. Jacob was pretty responsible for a few bad things:
1. Kate was stealing, the owner of the shop was calling the police. She would learn her lesson, but Jacob said there was no need. Cops never came, lesson never learnt.
2. Sawyer didn't have a pen. Jacob gives it to him. He now may continue the letter right away, making him a bitter guy with revenge on his mind.
3. Sayid lost Nadia, maybe because of him (though, was he saving Sayid, or was he letting Nadia die?).
We're not sure what's on his mind. Anyhow, I wouldn't say he's out of the picture. I think it was a weird approach he had. Ben-"I'm going to kill you or something" , Jacob gets closer to him, shows no reaction, Ben stabs once, stabs twice, that's it. I think he has something on his sleeve. 'They' are coming.

I'm certain Jacob is the "bad guy" and fake Locke is the "good guy" It's possible "they" are a completely different third party. It's possible that Christian etc. aren't working with fake Locke/Jacobs enemy and that Smokey is indeed a third party in all of this

I think it would be too obvious for Jacob to be the good guy. It would also be too obvious of a twist for Jacob to be the bad guy. He's not good or bad, I think. We'll surely find out more about this later.

Jacob was always the good guy, he's the white, while his enemy is dark. White and dark is a recurring theme in Lost.
