Dream Theater is amazing. One of my favorite bands. Petrucci and Portnoy are ridiculous.

try this:

Running forward
Falling back
Spinning round and round
Looking outward
Reaching in
Scream without a sound

it's quite easy, actually

Dream Theater are incredible! i was really dissapointed when i found a keyboardist that blew me away more than Matt Bellamy matt's still my favourite though!
but they are seriously good musicians - some of the best around today. I dont like James LaBrie though. His voice really gets to me.

My fav song atm is The Glass Prison. in fact im loving the whole of the AA saga so far

I am really into their music at the moment. It is nice to hear something original. Im really hoping for a Muse/Dream Theater collaboration. That would be THE ULTIMATE

Im really into the Octavarium album at the moment, especially the song Never Enough - its like a mix between Stockholm Syndrome and Hysteria. Cant wait for the new DVD to come out, i saw them at wolverhampton on the last tour and that was bloody awesome

I think I would like Dream Theater a ton more if they had a decent vocalist. Although, it's hard to not laugh at Petrucci's instrumental masturbation sometimes. It's cool at first, but loses its edge fast.

And to think that this guy had a 4.0 rating at that NME Greatest Drummer poll... Dream Theater is the closest that rock´n roll can get to erudite music.

Im just listening to the leak of the new album and it is bloody amazing. (I have still pre ordered it on play.com) It is definatly one of their best albums (maybe slightly behind Octavarium and Scenes from a memory). Im so annoyed that I have an exam on Friday which means I cant go to download festival and see them

I've just listened to 'A nightmare to remember.' And it was so awesome! It is like 15 minutes long, but i'd recommend it because it is awesome, and I never got bored of it.
Does anyone else think never enough by DT was heavily influenced by SS? The riff sounds very similar, and the breakdown sounds very similar as well!

There are a bunch of youtube videos about Never Enough and SS. They are remarkably similar. The solo is also like a hyper version of the Hysteria solo. DT have also covered part of SS in their live sets multiple times. Given the love DT have for Muse, it wouldn't surprise me. John Petrucci called Dom "The best groove drummer since Bonham."

Downloaded and ordered there latist album - its great.
I'm not really sure what to think of james - i don't think his voice has truely been the same since 1994 and this shows sometimes on his bad days. I absolutely hate the way that he's started growling but when he goes high, I can actually understand him better than matt so overall, I think that james is actually a better vocalist.
I listened to take the time before most of my exams this year.

dont you see!! The Hungry Caterpillar is about civil war in third countries causing poverty! on the fourth day, he ate three strawberries! the strawberries represent the child soldiers!
