Saw 4.
Honestly didn't like it.
damn
is that cause it's just really bad
or you just didn't happen to like it?
There was just too many things that seemed like they took the easy way out.
Spoilers
Example: The fact it's set during the same time as Saw 3 just pissed me off. It's more of a side-movie than a sequel. Didn't really continue the story, with the exception of showing us what happened to Detectitive Matthews (who had one of the worst deaths in the series IMO)
Saw 3 nearly seems completely useless now. It focused on Jeff, who after a whole 30secs of screen time is shown being shot and killed. What about his daughter? There was another story there they could've continued with.
There were a few plot holes I picked up on: They find Kerry's body and they are discussing how she got up there and they bring up Amanda. But, seeing as the film is set at the same time and Kerry has only been missing for 4 days (mentioned in movie) how did they know that Amanda was working with Jigsaw? Kerry seemed honestly surprised and shocked in Saw 3 when she saw it was Amanda before she was killed.
End Spoilers
So yeah, thats why I didn't like it.
Saw - 8/10
Saw 2 - 7/10
Saw 3 - 7/10
Saw 4 - 4/10 (There were a couple of traps I thought were clever)

The Hills Have Eyes (original)
One movie where I can without a doubt say the remake is way better. This and Texas Chainsaw Massacre ;D

Matt: If I wanted to record a solo album, how concerned would you be?
Chris: If I could play bass on it, it would be alright.

I watched parts of that earlier, when doing film studies coursework. It really is great ;D
Anywho, as for full films, I've just watched Halloween and Halloween II back to back, now I'm deciding if I can stay awake long enough to squeeze in Halloween IV, haha. All in spirit of the day, of course.. which ended nearly 3 hours ago now O_o

I watched Aliens earlier today.
Was quite long, but I really enjoyed it. Not often sequels are that good.

Alien was tough to get into. I do prefer Aliens, but I wont say I don't like the first. Wasn't a fan the first time, but second time I liked it a bit more.
Anywho, last night, watched Dawn of the Dead ['78]. As fantastic as always. A classic. I love it so much!
And then I've just got back from the cinema from seeing 30 Days Of Night. Good movie. I'd rate it about a B going on grades (7/10, maybe?). I'm not a Josh Hartnett fan at all though, but he played the part alright. So glad it wasn't the usual expected happy ending and stuff though, cos that always annoys me.
Just put that in another colour just in case people don't want to see what I typed, cos it's not spoilerish much, but it is a tad.

Alien boring?
Anyway, I watched Easy Rider. I watched it for the first time about 7 years ago, so had forgotten most of it in the meantime, but it was worth watching it again.

Jackass Number 2
Immature, painful and at times, simply disgusting, but as one of my mates put it, one of the best 80mins spent watching a comedy all year.
Its a fascinating voyage of pain and despair that leaves you emotionally drained and satisfied, like fucking a burning dolphin.

28 Weeks Later.
The graphic shots of London are amazing, mixed with the really Musey sounding music.
The track I'm referring to is called 'In The House - In A Heartbeat' by John Murphy. Very much worth a listen if you haven't heard, reminds me of Sing For Absolution.
Great film, too.

It's a feature of sorts, so I'll put it down.
We dug out a video of The Snowman for my sister after she found the book! It's the saddest film I have ever seen. You watch it on Channel 4 at Christmas, and it's all very heartwarming, until the last few seconds. Why? Nooooooo!
(I could put something really funny and intelligent here, but that would just be showing off.)
