Anyway, as for pick up info, doesn't the black Manson also have a sustainer in it? On musewiki, under 'special circuits' it says 'Fernandes Sustainer pickup system', but is that something different? I can't really tell from the picture if there's an actual pick up sustainer in there, because my monitor has shit lighting and the pic isn't that big.
It is one, but it not hugely apparent as you say. The other reason I didn't put it on is because it's not really a stand alone pickup, it's one of 2 neck pickups!

The mirror has a Mississippi Queen in the bridge now.

Are both of them Mississippi Queens?
Quote no-name :
Edit: Question... do the two P-90s on the Kaoss work as a humbucker or seperately? Is that even possible? Just because it said '2 hot p-90's'
Pretty much, they're wired together as a single pickup.

why does matt use the glitterati for microcuts?
i noticed he had to bend and and fliddle with his peddalboard for the FF bits at wembley. why doesnt he just use one of the ones with a built in FF?

Don't know! Must just be just the right sound.

Obviously because it matches his red coat, and ya spiral both are mississippi queens.

I've seen Chris playing a start with a tele styled headstock (dunno what brand or model) on Hoodoo.

He used to use a strat early in the tour, but he uses a red PRS now.
I was just wondering, is this list just for what he used on the Black holes and revelations tour? Cas if it isn't, then it is missing a good bit of info, especially on the original silver manson and a lot of songs from the absolution era.
Muse @ Hammerstein Ballroom (8/3/06)
Muse @ Madison Square Garden (8/6/07)
Radiohead @ All Points West (8/9/08 )
Muse @ Walter Kerr Theatre (9/13/09)
Muse @ Madison Square Garden (3/5/10)

So far, yes. I'm pretty positive that he stated that earlier in this thread, too. But oh well.
EDIT: Or maybe not. Oh well. I'm pretty sure it's just for BHAR tour though.

Yes it is just for the BH&R Tour, because before that, the Silver Manson was used for everything, and it's all a little repetitive!

Ya, it is a bit repetitive, and looking at it i noticed that he only uses mansons now, besides the acoustics. But the other day, Muse live at abbey road was on TV, and in between songs matt said something about how if you want to have a unique sound, you have to create a completely original guitar. It makes sense, as Matt was always very unique.

Does anyone know what the acoustic is called? Who it's made by etc.
|

When i was at MSG, it looked like he had 2 different acoustics. At least one of them is a Taylor acoustic electric: link
All i know is that one has a pickguard, and one doesn't. At MSG, he used the one without a pickguard for City of Delusions, and the one with a pickguard for Unintended and Soldiers poem.

For Sing For Absolution, on this video, it really looks to me like he's using the black Kaoss Manson
Look on the big screens throughout, and you'll occasionally see. It's definately black, and I think I saw the X-Y pad in there too.

You're right, I looked at this and thought it was the mirror one, but it's the M1D1.

So it is. On the video I posted, at the time I saw it, the lighting made it look black, so I thought it was that one, but no, you're right. M1D1.
I'd say your list was pretty much complete for the BHAR tour now, then.

Updated with the Seattle Manson.
Need someone to make the picture for it smaller though. Thanks.

The first one's probably got a better angle for seeing the whole guitar
Edit: I was just looking at the first Kaoss one... are we sure that it's not just that one, with changes? ie new pickups? They look very similar...
|
|
|
Yeah, I thought that. But he surely would have had that done to the M1D1 seeing as that's the one that he broke..
|
|

He's been using the Seattle Manson for New Born. Dunno what other songs.
Also Screenager has been played on his old Fender Aloha Strat on at least one occasion (Leeds Uni 01).
