I'm not a drummer, but I've always loved the drums on Stockholm Syndrome and Assassin. It's difficult not to recognise how good the drum parts are.

As a drummer for 11 years I can say that Eternally Missed and Twin/Balloonatic are by FAR the technically hardest Muse songs to play on the drums. Then you have Assassin and Endlessly following closely behind.
Stockholm Syndrome and MotP aren't actually hard at all.
Also, Bliss can surpisingly be very hard to get the hang of, but once you get it, it's easy

Yeh Eternally Missed is tricky. It's mastering that base rhythm with the open hat on each beat as opposed to off-beat. Then the swing bit in the middle can be a bit draining.
Personally though I wouldn't say Twin/Balloonatic is that hard. It seems to be slightly improvised, I don't think Dom worked out each snare strike. It's just getting used to drifting between the hi-hat and snare playing 16s without getting confused. It's tricky to master the rolling too. I find playing with loose grip easier in the first place so I find Twin ok.
It's all opinion-based really. I was surprised how many youtube vids for Assassin have half-decent drumming in. Some of them are really young players.
Hysteria is probably the best one to learn. It's not too hard at all but it helps you practice a lot. I played that over and over and eventually became a bit more confident in using the whole kit and attempting different techniques.

SS and Assassin for sure. I love the drums in SS.
|
|

Assassin has mad fills, so i like that one, but i also love the drumming in SS, and theres is one fill in Take a Bow that I cant get over...so cool.
And the intro fill to Apocalypse Please...not the marching bit, but the fill just before Matt sings...its not heaps hard but its just different and cool.

Screenager has some really neat percussion, such as a Balafon (an African xylophone) and animal bones.

Ha yeah Shrinking universe feels weird to play, Assassin... I can kind've do it but it'll be a while before i can get all those fills and shit during the crazy bits :S
I got KoC a while ago! Usually i'd mess up at least once but now i can play it flawlessly =D! And also SS obviously. Also 'I belong to you isn't really hard but fun to play, and USOE aswell
