Urmm, I've never used FLACs before so could someone tell me what to do with them, do I need a program to open it and are they playable in WMP.

I don't think the taper wanted them to be mp3's that is why they are in FLAC. Convert them for yourself if you want but some people may get a bit angry if you try and upload them.

I just thought it would be a good thing to do for people who can't play FLACs or convert to mp3 themselves and want to listen to it..

FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec, an audio format similar to MP3, but lossless, meaning that audio is compressed in FLAC without any loss in quality. This is similar to how Zip works, except with FLAC you will get much better compression because it is designed specifically for audio
Hope that is more helpfull, you'll need ImToo audio encoder if you wanna play it in WMP.

just a question....... do you know how hard it is to record a concert in a stadium? well its extremely bloody hard!! thats why the quality is not perfect.
