A Dutch F1 team next year . Midland F1 has been sold to Michiel Mol (no idea who he is tho).

And i don't think Kimi himself even knows what he'll do next year... but i think he'll anounce that soon after Schumi has said what he'll do.

Kimi won't go to Renault, that's for sure. If Schumi quits F1 he might go to Ferrari or still decide to stay at McLaren, but if Schumi stays i think Kimi will stay at McLaren too. That would be really cool, Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen in the same team. I wonder who'd be the best then...

I can't believe i've never posted on this thread, I'm totally addicted to f1, i haven't missed a race for about 15 years (definitely everyone since senna died and most for the few years before it) I even refused to let my family do anything on sunday while we were on holiday this year, which was good cause it was the hungarian gp! It's strange now i've moved to holland though, i find myself commentating on the races cause i don't know what the actual comentators are saying, it's still better than having james allen though.

Tommorow's press confrence schumacher will retire and kimi and massa will be at ferrari next year, which is one hell of a team, better than fisi and kovalinen, they'll struggle to get podia let alone wins.

and even though i live in holland now so i'd probably go and see it there should never be a grand prix at Zandvoort ever again in my opinion, it is the most boring track in the world, even f3000 cars couldn't overtake there!

Where are you from Tom? And why would you move to Holland . The only good thing about Holland is the plane to England...

But the Dutch F1 commentator, Olav Mol, is really good, he is so funny sometimes . And Jack Plooij (the pitreporter) is really cool too. You should have heard the interview with Paul Stoddart last year during the American GP, Stoddart wanted to swear but thought he couldn't because he was live, but it was dutch tv so he could and he did . "This is fucking crazy! This today is bullshit!" I have that interview on my computer.
But it's dutch, so there are a lot of interviews with Christijan Albers and Robert Doornbos...

And Kimi on pooooole . At 0.002 sec.! Brilliant quali. But i hate those italians... placing Alonso back on the grid for nothing...

I'm from britain, i'm here for a year doing a placement with shell.

The coverage seems quite good, and when they interview most of the drivers it's in english, but i'm sure that i'm going to pick up most of my dutch from trying to work out commentary on different sports.

I can't believe they put alonso back aswell, it's a ferarri/fia/bernie led conspiracy so that schumacher can win one more title before he retires. have you seen the video from massa's car, you can barely seen alonso

Yeah i saw it on tv, but the fact you don't see Alonso from Massa's car doesn't really say anything... you could see it in the race (i believe between Raikkonen and Schumacher from Kimi's car), a big gap between two cars, can be a really small distance in time. But still, in this case, it was a wrong decision.

Wow Michael Schumacher will quit... it's official now. I feel a bit better about him winning this race now .

yeah damn... Kimi to Ferrari... it's official now. But i don't want to have to buy a red cap... And i have this huge McLaren flag hanging in my room hehe. I guess i'll have to be a split-fan: supporting Kimi and McLaren .

Kubica is really good... this was his what, third or fourth race or something? Great driver.

aye! he did really well considering he has very little experience. i was so annoyed when alonso overtook him, lol. as for kimi.. ach yeah. ive supported mclaren well forever, like back in the hakkinen days etc. its a shame kimi had to leave. and i cant see myself supporting alonso at all, i just wont. i refuse to support ferrari too, lol

Kubica is a great driver, he should have got points in his first ever race but htey disqualified him for some spuerious readon so that schumacher could get a point.

Schumacher quitting now will mean that he will be leaving before beating the last record he hasn't got, he will be 3 short of ricardo patrasee's record of 256 grand prix starts

i dunno who i'll support now, for 15 years it has been anyone but schumacher, i guess i'll hve to make an allegiance to someone, or just have to find someone new to hate!

that's gonna be difficult for you then . I don't really dislike Alonso that much, so i don't have any problems with him going to McLaren. But i hate Ferrari and the way they play with F1, the FIA and Bernie.

What will all the millions of Schumi fans do now? Support Ferrari?

The schumi fans have only really since he went ot ferarri, so they all just go to kimi instead. This season i haven't really been supporting anyone, i just like it when the lesser teams do well like today. I suppose i've been supporting alonso, just cause he's the only one that can beat shumi. I do have a soft spot for button as well just cause he's british and with the sport so much based here, we should have some good drivers.

Next season will be alright though, with lewis hamilton hopefully going to mclarren and thrashing everyone.

Yeah Hamilton should go to McLaren, that would be really great. But what about Gary Paffet? He's McLarens testdriver now. Or Pedro, he's good too.
