Hey couldn't see a topic on this....maybe its old news? but i picked my paper up today and saw muse had O.O.S and Absolution in the 100 best albums of all time. Absolution was 60th and O.O.S was 69th! an oasis - definatley maybe won. Not sure who decided on this but i spose its fair though kaiser chiefs and franz ferdinands debut albums where ahead of them

NME? that mean the libertines, kaisers and arctics all made a nice perch on the leaderboard then?
or is it a more fair judge panel?

I dunno NME charts don't usually make press but the libertines had 2 albums in the top 20 i think! most suprising is Spice Girls had an album at like 95th

People like the spice girls....

This reminds me of the Channel Four greatest albums of all time... Radiohead came first. There was 3 Beatles albums in the top ten, which obviously deserve to be there, but Radiohead?? It was OK Computer. Never heard it, but agh!!

As for Muse being 60th and 69th, that is definitely something to be proud of, if you consider all the albums out there.

I'm sorry David, but you are a retard for just saying that. Listen to it first before having an opinion on it, it's one of the best albums you'll ever hear. I'm glad it was number one, well deserved.

Absolutely. It's one of the very few 'seminal albums' that actually deserves all the hype. There's not a single bad song on it.

That was possibly the most retarded thing I've read all day.

Apart from when I read that Absolution was placed higher than Origin in the list.

The top ten was stupid, there's no way that ANYTHING by Oasis can beat ANYTHING by Radiohead or The Beatles. And two albums in the top ten? Just utterly ridiculous.
