The eBay auction for a rare Muse Demo Cassette (with 4 [oops!] unheard Muse tracks on) ended today on eBay and sold for a massive £500.

I can confirm that this tape IS real! Just take my word for it :-).

The seller were definately not in the Rub Ultra band! It's a fake. Like many other demos on Ebay.

I'm sorry but it doesn't confirm it's real! I know you're honest Tom (admin) but it's definately a fake. It's not the first Muse demo on Ebay, and it won't be the last.

Not the sort of buyer I would have expected to pay out £500 for a demo cassette. She's bought nothing but clothes in the last 3 months. Very unusual.

Come on, don't you think Tom Kirk or a serious collector would buy this demo for *only* £500 if it was real? For a serious collector, it's not very expensive.

I would have thought tom kirk already has this demo, and hence doesnt need to buy it.

If it was fake Tom Kirk wouldn't object to having it up for download on the site, he'd just say that you could download it if you wanted but it wasn't Muse.
