Ended up getting with one of my closet friends 6 months ago. Turned out she's liked me for nearly a year now. After said night we talked about where everything was going, turns out she's still in love with her ex and they're still sleeping together. She knows he doesn't want a relationship with her and treats her like shit. Everyone hates him :<

I'm so used to not getting looked at by girls that when I do notice it I just sort of think that they're looking at my general direction and not at me. How am I meant to know anyway? It happened today with one of the workers in my local comic book shop while I was waiting in the queue and even if that does mean anything the shop's closing down on Saturday anyway. Oh well at least it might be mean I'm actually somewhat attractive.
Oh and Only Way is Essex makes me ashamed to be from Essex.

What does "The Only Way is Essex" even mean anyway?
I've only seen a few minutes of it, but that was enough to turn me pro-apocalypse. I don't think I'd do well in a zombie apocalypse... I'm good with mosquitoes though. That's it, abnormal weather conditions leading to swarms of African killer mosquitoes. That are extremely attracted to fake tan.

I went in today to try and have a bit of a mingle with her but it was super busy in the shop so there wouldn't have been any time to talk anyway. Plus I found out with my amazing detective skills that she may have a boyfriend.
I'm a tad disappointed but I'll probably get over by tomorrow.
My quest for a geek girl continues.

Ahh fucking hell.
Basically back at the start of the year, I split with my partner of 5 years. A while later, I fell in love very hard for this guy I've been friends with for ages and we got together. Now after a short and passionate few months, he's now decided that I deserve someone better that can give me the relationship I want, so split up with me...  He said it's killed him that it's hurt me so bad and that he loves and cares for me deeply, but more as a best friend than a partner. I'm really happy that he's respected me alot and shown he cares for me by not stringing me along and we're both staying close friends, but I feel really unwanted, hurt and upset. I feel such a failure even though he's told me it's nothing that I done, he's just not used to relationships and its purely how hes feeling. 
2012 has been shit so far. Still, I appreciate how much I've learnt from this  But this week has been hell and missing the intimacy Now I'm single, I think I'm just gonna concentrate on building up my confidence and self worth, have fun and enjoy socialising with friends while concentrating on my final year of uni.
