New BW2 info. The Genie Trio(Landuros and co) have new bird like forms that you catch in the augmented reality Pokemon game on the 3DS. Now, this next information is not confirmed. In the Post-Game, there is apparently a Facility where you can battle Gym Leaders and E4/Champions from previous games, including Volkner, Lance, Steven, Blue, and Misty. Cheren and Bianca are mentioned, apparently Cheren is now a gym leader. We do not know what role Bianca plays. Brock and Giovanni are also shown, for unknown reasons. All of this comes from the Japanese Magazine Corocoro. The only confirmed part is the new forms.
Edit: It's real. I'm throwing money at the screen and nothing is happening.

More info:Bianca gives you your starter, N is shown, but he is said to be missing. It shows you talking to one of the sages, with a few Plasma grunts in the area, as well as those 2 girls who had blond and pink hair from the original B/W intro, and from N's castle. In a previous screenshot, we saw a new team in black clothes, who have been confirmed to be Team Plasma as well. Alder appears early on, to ask a favor. You will be able to download trainers for The World Tournament with the Gym Leaders and Champions.

I haven't seen the above trailer... But generally speaking. I think a high quality animation is pretty expensive. Look at the animations Blizzard use for their games like WoW and Diablo. They're freaking amazing animations, and I would love to watch a whole movie of that quality, but I don't think it's viable as they're probably pretty damn expensive to make.

I don't know if I should get these new Pokemon games or not, because it seems they have ran out of ideas for the Pokemon themselves. I know the stories are suppose to be good but a giant Ice Cream cone with a face  .... Not to mention all the blobish looks they have now.
I just really want to get into a new pokemon game. Would it really be worth it just for the story seeing as their is a 2 now?

Tons of new stuff. New move tutors allow DD Moxie Salamence to carry Outrage, Golurk gets Ice Punch, Shining Charm is now available, White Kyurem can have 482 Special Attack, events for Keldeo, likely Meloetta, and so on.

Been playing Pokemon Black recently.. Finished the 'story' yesterday but wasn't too impressed with it. Haven't played any them since Gold/Silver on the GBC but as plenty have mentioned, the new Pokemon are just awful. For example the floaty one that wears a dead persons face, I mean wtf? 
Gonna trade it in for SoulSilver/HeartGold tomorrow. Anyone know if it's worth the extra money to get a copy with the Pokewalker thing?

^ I think some pokemon can only be found inside the pokewalker but don't quote me on that, I might be wrong.

However it makes it feel like they aren't natural, if you get what i mean. I know the original had Pokemon that didn't make sense, but at least the majority felt some-what realistic and like something that connects to the natural world.... Now it just seems they turn anything they want into a Pokemon, such as a chair. Running out of ideas i guess.... which ruins the new ones for me.

^I had a quick look at some of the new ones recently, and saw how human-like some of them are getting. I guess we had Mr Mime from the beginning (because nothing says entertainment like watching a midget clown fight to the death), but now we have karate guys, Scrafty aka the chav pokemon, a set of goths, a buffalo with an afro and 3 legendary pokemon which resemble weather gods with fantastic moustaches.
Also... a chandelier? And did we really need another cactus?

Don't talk shit about Chandelure, it's incredible. Ghost/Fire, a quality addition to the canon.
I do love the old games, but much prefer the additions the newer games have given. Also - there now being just shy of 700 of the buggers means that you've got more choice than ever for your own experience - can't that be anything but a good thing? I for one think that the new Pokemon have gotten better with every generation.
B2/W2 look even better though. The addition of catchable Dream World ability Pokemon within the game alongside so many catchable legendaries and others look like it can keep oneself playing for ages.

My biggest problem with newer Pokemon generations is that the new evolutions of starter Pokemons are not nearly as awesome as they were in first generation. I mean, Blastoise was a giant turtle with cannons attached and Charizard was freaking dragon.
Nowadays those final evolutions don't feel nearly as epic. You can't compare Serperior to awesomeness that Venusaur was.

I still think the ice cream pokemon is the lowest low. It's horrible. It evolves from one cone to two cones  .

^Makes sense, if you're getting inspiration from a passing ice cream van. But it should have gone wafer -> cone -> double cone. Just draw on cute/determined/angry eyes where appropriate, and this could have been concept art for that pokemon chain:

Well you may like the type combo, but I'm saying the form doesn't have to be randomly picked out of the Homebase catalogue. Some sort of demon-like character would have been better for that perhaps.
That said, we already had that legendary one that took the form of various household appliances...
I'd call mine "bitch" and use it to make me sammiches.
