I swear the litte tag for this site should be changed from "Rock for clever people" to "A place were clever people come to bitch about rock" because I think that's all we do here anymore.

Obviously they're not saying Matt is THE greatest music legend of all time, even hardcore Muse fans know that isn't true. He's an incredible musician, and he doesn't ever really seem like the guy who is cocky at all. He is not the best at what he does, but he is an incredible musician - no one can deny that.

I read back sometimes on old stuff on muselive from back in 05, 06... People seemed so much more delighted and nice to one another. Excited to post nice things, hopeful things. Maybe Muse just throw around their fan's expectations to the point of driving them insane at this point.
Either way. Its a place where people criticize Muse. Bitch about them, bitch about bitching about them, but people never used to be so hard on them. Lots of negativity.

I noticed the same thing when searching through old threads. I find a lot of people still like them though even if they bitch. A lot of people have completely abandoned the band entirely.
