Random question here, why are no seated tickets available for presale? Does anyone know?

I imagine they'll be reserved for when the tickets go on general sale?

I wonder how expensive tickets will be when they tour here. I saw them for $25, but it was a festival presale. And unless they play the festival again, they'll play in Phoenix, which ticket prices there were $55.
$55 for a festival! jesus christ i'd love that in en-ger-land.

Anyone else been billed twice? £250 for 2 tickets is way beyond a joke now.

I really can't afford for them to make stupid mistakes. I've been emailing over the past few days as well to try and get my ticket application thing cancelled. People can live on just water right?

Meanwhile in Australia, tickets will start at $130

I know I might sound daft here, but it is today or tomorrow we find out if we have the tickets?

The fuck? $130? Though to be fair, I got the shortest setlist of the entire tour. And if I remember correctly, the setlists you got were awesome. :P

True that. Can hardly complain with MK Ultra, B&H, Sunburn, Bliss and Citizen Erased in there in an arena setlist :P
But yeah. Prices on concert tickets down here are absolutely nuts. They were $130 for Muse last time, and paid $130 for Radiohead's gig which I'm going to in November. And $95 for Elbow back in March. Ridiculous prices..... Still worth it

I didn't get any of those songs. :P I only got 11 songs, the only "rare" songs I got were Unnatural Selection and Stockholm Syndrome(I believe they didn't play this that often at the time). For $25, that's not bad I suppose. Plus, I saw 6 other bands as well. Radiohead tickets here were $55 I think. I can't remember. Why are tickets so expensive there?

Well.. I think there's several factors.
Firstly the Australian economy is doing very well at the moment, so people do have a fair bit of money.
More importantly, I'd say it's to cover the increase expenses of touring down here. It's so remote from everything and bands only do a couple of shows. Usually at most 6 shows (5 biggest cities of Australia and 1 in NZ). And even between cities there's a LONG way. So travelling/transportation expenses need to be covered.
Finally it also just seems to be "because they can". Even Australian local bands will charge inflated prices, and the above reason doesn't really apply to them. I think people just like going to concerts and have gotten used these prices, so they'll pay (me included).
