Joe, your occupation is grammatically incorrect.
Yours sincerely,

Musically they're the best band out there at the moment, and they've never made one album song that wasn't musically genious.
You've just confirmed what I said about being new to the game.

Since people are analysing the tweet: I like the hidden deniability clause built into it:
huge band about to get even more huge methinks ..... I already hear "I could be wrong, I could be wrong" going somewhere in the background.

When he says "Bigger" he could just mean they've started wearing high heels

why the hell is everybody complaining in advance? i'm sure it's gonna be a logical consequence of muses way, but we can't really say in which way before we listened to the entire album...
of course we can't expect the raw power of showbiz ever again. and of course oos was "the" muse album (although i needed several turns of the disc to see/hear this myself). but i couldn't say any of the following albums was lame or flat or whatever some people call it...
they were all typical muse in their own way and i'm sure, there will be another one.
(for it will not be an electro or dub step album :-)
so: keep calm everybody :-)

I don't really want to hear the word 'Huge'... both in the sense of popularity or sound. I want words like difficult, grower, mindblowing, facemelting etc
|
|
|
But surely a grower suggests that its not at all mindblowing or facemelting?
I'd rather the next Muse album to be mindblowing, not a grower.

Why would you want to hear the word "difficult"? I understand something being a grower, something that's not instantly accessible and whatnot. But if someone said an album was "difficult" I would automatically assume that it would be difficult to listen to and get through - which isn't very pleasant in my opinion.

Just because Andy Burrows uses the word 'huge' doesn't mean that he's right or that it can't be any of those other things.
And if you check his twitter you can see that he likes to say that things are going to be huge, he's said it about three different artists/bands in the past couple of months.

Thats my main sentiment really. TR was a bit of a grower and a bit of a shock to me from what had been made previously.. now that the TR phase (and all the turbulent times surrounding it) has passed maybe the new album will be something more akin to what we're used to.
Perhaps it's just the impression i get, but the lads seem more at home with themselves these past few years and that this is a turning point, not necessarilly appealing to the older or the newest fans, but going back to making great music. Sorry guys i said it, TR wasnt as good as their earlier stuff.
an instant connection to the new album would be a massive win.

Maybe, but it was definitely better than B&R
I don't think there's an album where they were more themselves than this one...they produced it themselves, matt got the chance to do exogenesis and they didn't care if WB didn't like it at first...
I agree however, that OOS and Absolution were far better, probably because they were more spontanious not trying to make every song original or weird. I miss simple but good songs like PIB or endlessly...but still I love the resistance lol

Sounds like an utter fail. Anyways I fail to see what's going to be different about LP6, it will be "The Resistance Part II".

I wonder what they've done with the choir?
68 additional musicians on the record am I right?

Hopefully they pissed the choir off.
Do not want.
Unless it's the Hand Bell choir, then you'd have a winner.

why learn this? it's something i know already. but i'm about learning to hate over-hasty so-called "opinions" about an album noone already had a listen to. that's the point :-)

But you can't discuss an album you haven't heard without predicting what you think it's going to be like.
