And on a related note, I wasn't completely shit when I played it at the wind orchestra rehearsal, despite the fact that I was sight reading and hadn't actually played my alto sax for about a year, so I was also re-adjusting to the fingerings of the notes as well as the fact that it feels completely different ergonomically to my alto.

Oooooohhh damn. I have set up a collaboration with a fellow PhD student, the experiment has already been done, the mice are sacrificed. I just have to do some analyses and *dang* my name is on another paper. *happy*
Edit: So happy for my bf as well!!! He was invited as guest speaker and all the students gave the highest score for his presentation. Now the school wants him for another job.
