Is anyone else watching this?
It is a very good show, one of the better new ones I've seen of late. I really hope this can stay around for a few series, and preferably not end up on Starz.

In my opinion it's the best show on TV, it deserves much more recognition than it seems to be receiving. The special effects are incredible and the cast is great! I started watching the first episode when it was aired, without having heard anything about it and was hooked after 10minutes. Sadly I think that it's only going to be a single series, one-off production... We'll find that out next episode I guess.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. I really hope popular demand can give this a recall because while it's not getting much recognition the viewing numbers seem to be decent.
They can't finish it up, it's only just getting started.

I've just finished the latest episode, I have to say, it probably is in the top 5 shows on at the moment.
If it's true about it being only one series, then that's really sad. Seeing as shows like Desperate Housewives or 90210 are getting 6 or 7 seasons out of them, when it's basically shit. Then you get a series like The Fades, which deserves additional seasons, as long as the writing maintains it's awesome.
But yeah, excellent script and acting. You don't get much of that these days.
Take the pieces and build them skywards.

That's the thing with these type of shows, you can see loads and loads of potential the story is so well developed in the writers mind and brought across so well you can see this lasting. And then all of the sudden everything gets packed into the last couple of episodes and are rushed to meet a deadline.
The intensity of tonights episode kind of showed that too.
Tonight was the first episode I actually like Anna, any boob action is good action in my book

I just finished episode 5 and once again, it's getting even better. I really can't see them packing the whole ending into one episode. So here's hoping for a Season 2.
Also Alex, not sure if you've noticed but it's filmed in Watford. In the first episode where he sees Natalie for the first time, that's in Cassiobury park :P

I know!
The bit where he gets hit by that van is in South Oxhey, right around the corner from where my girlfriend lives!
Watford's getting on the map! :P

What's this? A BBC drama that doesn't suck?
I might have to check it out then.

Not exactly a drama, more sci-fi.

That was pretty good, there is no way they can kill the series surely.
Maybe we should write points of view so they know at least two people like it.

I thought the last episode was brilliant! I agree, there has to be a 2nd series now, not sure what the 2nd series will be about but if it's anything like the 1st it'll be watching. They should re-broadcast it on BBC1 or 2.
I'd love it on DVD but BBC box sets cost a fortune.

They very may well do that, it would open it up to so many more viewers.
What really shows how strong the show is is what happened with Jay, most shows wouldn't of done that which is part of the reason it's so good.

I saw the advert a while ago and made a conscious decision not to watch it. The advert really did make it seem awful. Especially that whispery voice saying, "the shades are coming" or something.

That episode was awesome. Poor Jay, as soon as he said everything was gonna be fine, I thought, oh fuuuuuuuuuuck.
