It's not that bad. We'll get used to it soon enough. It could have been worse. They could have named him Google or Yahoo

It's not a good name. At least Harper Seven sounds like a space shuttle or nuclear weapon (right up Matt's alley I'd have thought).

If you're going to call your child something odd or exotic, at least put an 'X' or 'Z' in it.

Xing has a cool Asian sort of feel to it.

Matt Bellamy
For those wondering, Bingham is my mum's maiden name and Bing Russell was Kurt's dad. Family connections all round!

I think that was very sweet of them. At least they didn't think of a weird name just for the sake of it.

That explains why they chose the name, but that doesn't make it any better. Surely there is a George in the Russell family...

That name sure takes some time to get used to. I'm actually not sure whether I should like it, laugh at it or whatever. If his parents weren't famous I'm sure people would make fun of him for that name.
It could be way worse, of course, but seriously, I won't ever complain about my name again.

Looking around the internet, it seems like more people like the name (especially because it has a meaning) than hate it. But I'm seeing Chandler references everywhere which is kinda funny :P

Compared to names like Camera, Fifi Trixibelle, Pilot Inspektor, etc., Bingham actually sounds relatively normal.

Alright, I was just going along with the analogy then anything sounds more awesome with an 'x' or 'z' in. NOt just changing it to Xing, Zing, Binx, Binz, Bingzam, Binghax etc.

Some are just plain odd ones about, but they're not unknown and have meanings, sometimes mythical. Xavier, Xenon, Xylophia and even Xochiquetzal. Though to be honest I don't think I'd dare call my child any of those.
