Coldplay 2011 was better

hahaa gd one

Erm... if he's being serious, there are a few people here who agree. I'm one of them. Maybe I'm sick of the Glastonbury performance, or I need yesterday to sink in, but that was brilliant last night.

I was being serious, I thought it was absolutely brilliant! An incredible mix of old and new songs which were delivered with perfection. Muse were great too but I really don't think it was their best ever gig, let alone Glastonburys best ever performance, it has seen better and I personally think Coldplay were better.

EDIT: Infact, Muse was not even the best performance of 2004: Paul McCartney - Helter Skelter

It was more a response to xeljames, thinking you were joking or just taking the piss. But yes, Coldplay were fantastic and I enjoyed it more than Muse 04.

Hell yes!

I've always, ALWAYS said that this is their best ever performance, especially Stockholm Syndrome, which is by far their best live performance of any one song, imo. It makes the whole Glasto 04 performance what it is.

I raise you this!

Anyway, glasto '04 was a great gig, but i cant judge if it was the best as i havent seen others really. NME polls are shit

Nope, doesn't quite cut it for me . I just prefer SS Glasto to all others - in its entirety it beats out the rest, imo. I've had the SS Glasto vs SS Earl's Court argument loads in the past. I've agreed that the song itself is prob sang with more passion and performed better at Earl's Court, but what makes the whole experience so intensely amazing is the song AND outro, which is where Glasto wins. Even if there have been better screams and singing of the song, pair the performance at Glasto with its outro and it's the fucking ULTIMATE winner. SS Earl's Court outro is wishy-washy. It's not at the same level, so ruins the rest of the song for me.

Anyway, these polls are meaningless, really, but I love knowing one of my fave Muse live moments has been recognised for its epicness by loads of people!

So now Muse are voted best of all time at Glasto + Wembley. Surely the GOAT of live rock bands.
