I like realism and fun gameplay. At one end of the spectrum, I love the Operation Flashpoint and Arma series, at the other end I love Halo, Crackdown etc... but I think games like Battlefield and Ghost Recon (the first few) strike a nice balance between realism and keeping it fun.

If Battlefield 3 was full of laser guns and plasma shits, I wouldn't buy it. It needs to be realistic and it needs to play like it's realistic.

I suppose it's all down to what you like in a game. I prefer realism, which rules out 6-7 out of that list. Goldeneye was and still is amazing, but it's old and outdated.
