For anyone who doesn't know, you win this classic wrestling by pinning someone's two shoulders on his back on the mat, and get points for putting them completely on their stomach. I don't know all the exact rules though.
He has one leg, which lets him drop a weight class, he has less for other people to grab, making him harder to pin ect. He can bulk up in the upper body because he's in the lower weight class.
On the other hand one leg disability makes it hard to train over his whole life, he has less leverage on opponents.
what do you think?

People can't really complain. Having one leg is an advantage in only very specific circumstances, of which wrestling is not one.

Well, actually, he does have advantages, as highlighted in the first post.
But he also has disadvantages. So swings and roundabouts. Fair play to him.

It's wrestling, they let him win. :P

He has adavntages in bulk, but account for balance, ability to sweep the one leg away and such, I'd go disadvantages, also takes away alot of the move set which requires planting both legs to either generate power or block...

Fair play I guess... Looks like a pretty silly sport thou

The more I see it on ESPN and such, the more I think he has an advantage having less to grab and more upper body bulk. Having that one leg for his whole life (I believe), I'm sure he knows exactly how to use it to get the leverage he needs.

He has an advantage in that he knows how to wrestle with just one leg and his opponents probably don't know how to deal with that or don't know what to expect. But as far as I can tell, having two legs would be better in that sport.
It's like left handed people playing tennis, Nadal chose to become a left handed tennis player to have an advantage over right handed people, but there's nothing unfair about that.
