Brisbane Roar playing Central Coast Mariners in the Australian A-League final today... Yeah!!
Apparently they're expecting a sold out stadium of 52000 people which is massive numbers considering the sport isn't one of the main sports here..
edit: just got home from that incredible match. it was just an awesome game.
50.000 people shouting. It's been ages since I've experienced that. I completely forgot how much I missed being on stadium.
The game itself was insane as well. Fairly boring 90 minutes. 0-0. Central Coast Mariners scored 2 goals in the first half of the extra time. So 2-0 at half time. Then in the 117th minute Brisbane scored. And again in the 120th minute. And then there was penalty shootout which resulted in:
Amazing amazing match. This would make me consider getting season tickets for next season if I can afford it.

It's only the City fans that do it.......not the "English" as a whole.

I was there too! Started walking out with 5 minutes left because we thought Brisbane were going to lose, but on our way out everyone started cheering so we went back to our seats, and then they scored again in the last 20 seconds. Probably one of the greatest games ever played in Australia.

Well, Boothroyd's gone. Didn't even last the season.
I'm not sure what to think about it... I mean, he's a reputable manager, but one win in 16 is disgraceful..

I've been saying for years he's the best passer of the ball in the world. Since I watched him against Celtic about five years ago. He's just... a different class.
