I think in the past muse have just released extra tracks that they recorded while recording the album as b-sides. This time they only recorded the songs that went on the album and have been doing a crazy amount of gigging, so they haven't had time to write whole new songs I guess...
And well pray that theres no God to punish us...

Just because someone was feeling something when they recorded a song doesn't make it any good. Hell, most music is written because of some emotion or another. Doesn't make it all good though.
Prague is still shit.

I honestly had forgotten all about it until I saw this thread.
I remember listening to it when it was released, and my brother was in the room. It was one of those let's-never-speak-of-this-again moments.

Aye, same here. I don't think I've ever heard the full song. I've heard it doesn't change, so surely the first minute would do. If it doesn't change, I can't imagine it getting better than the first minute somehow.
It still doesn't top NSC. That came on the radio the other day and I was thinking "I know this, who sings this?" Took me a solid 30 seconds to figure it out. I turned off the radio.

NSC is a funny song, but I haven't listened to it in forever so I might be able to legitimately enjoy it once or twice if I actually listened to it. Just without that God-awful music video. Ugh.

In Prague, however, if memory serves, there are two chords in the whole song (someone correct me if I'm wrong), A5 and D5. The vocals are disappointing for Matt, and...yeah. Nothing good.

I don't know why but it seems sooo awefull to me, I really can't stand.
Because some people say it's okay I try to listen to it, but all I hear is annoying noise, I mean real noise even more than when I heard slayer or something like that.

Prague, along with that stupid Twilight song (name of I've currently forgotten) are possibly the two worst songs Muse have ever released. In my head they don't even exist.
Every time Twilight song comes on the TV I think "Oh yeah, forgot they made this" and turn it off.
Prague is worse because they took an alright song and somehow made it worse. That's musical genius right there.
Poor attempt at trying to capture Showbiz and OOS-era B-sides.
