Got some major action 2 nights in a row from someone from another college.... was quite nice. I even got her name correct in the first morning by having her enter it into my phone. (Aren't I a douche now???) Trick works every time.
Anyone else ever totally spaced on the name of the person they are hooking up with?
Anyway, she's pretty cool once we actually talked and got to know eachother and only lives like 25 minutes from me back home. Aweeeeeesome.
EDIT: this just gets better and better. She will be visiting my school in a few weeks for an event and to see me again, she will be staying with me. I can't believe how this is actually working out. First time a girl has legitimately just been interested in me from the get go and given me a chance.

well hanoi is more conservative than the southern cities but there are still plently of hanoian girls who arnt ultra traditional and will stay out later than 12am.
however for me they arnt worth the hassle. going out with a girl for a few months then maybe you will get some heavy petting, plus they can also be pretty pyschotic. and personally the culture gap is a bit too much. my normal everyday conversation is hard enough to follow for a natural english speaker, nevermind one who is completely unaware of most cultural references you will make. that can make them pretty submissive and quiet a lot of the time which really isnt my thing.
which is why i usually stick with the backpackers. tons of fun and they come in every size shape and colour you could want. plus they are usually out of the country in less than 48 hours. i am seeing a teacher who is living here while she does her volunteer course but thats just because this one is a bit of a keeper.
all in all though i can pretty much have my pick of just about anyone. it sounds really bigheaded but when you think it thru it does make sense. western girls never go for VN guys so theres only a small number of guys the backpacker girls will go for. plus im living here with a swanky house and motorbike and disposable income to burn so i can take a girl out to fancy places in town she would never have seen if it was just her and the lonely planet.
also im young. really really young. the expat community here is small and everyone knows each other by a couple of degrees of seperation and i know about 5 guys who are around my age and im the youngest out of the lot. it doesnt sound like something to boast about but once a girl finds out how well you have set yourself up here at such an age it adds quite a lot to your scoresheet.
a lot of that applys to the VN girls as well. plus to them im doubly dep choi (handsome) purely because im tall young and white.
