La Liga is MUCH easier than the Premier League.
Barcelona and Real both win every week with more than 4 goals, and every game they are able to score much more, but they let down the pressure.
These two teams are better than all the rest in Europe too, but I believe that all the teams from the 7th place till the last in Spain wouldn't survive in the Premier League too long.
The gap between Real and Barca and the rest of the league (including atletico, sevilla, valencia, villareal and all that) is getting bigger and bigger each year.
Last season Real had 25 points more points than Valencia in the 3rd place. Crazy.

The past is now part of my future, The present is well out of hand.

I don't believe Barca and Madrid are the best two teams in Europe, but we'll see wont we when the Champions League progress's. I also believe Madrid wouldn't be a great team at all if it wasn't for Mourinho being manager this year. Take a look at what they have achieved in the last 5 seasons to back my opinion.

Wayne Rooney is just...

Edit: I bet he misses this penalty.

Edit: Doesn't mean he's any good :P

Rooney has played better in the last 5 minutes than he has in the last 5 months. Not saying much, but still...

Shhh shhh shhhhhhhhhh, Rooney looked alot sharper and hopefully will hit some form, great pen. If Utd go through the whole group now without conceiding a goal that would be an achievement Just one game to go now aswell.

Well played Spurs, also anyone seen the Madrid scandle? Thoughts?

Looked a lot sharper? Until the last five minutes, all I seen him do was sclaff the ball over a few times, take a few swipes at mid air and generally just look rank rotten.

To me, despite having a - statistically - good season in 09-10, he's not looked half the player he was say 3-4 years ago. Now, I don't know if that's because I don't watch live matches or MOTD as much as I once did, but whenever I saw him I was captivated by his skill and technique. Now it seems like he's either lost the ability, or he can't be bothered.

I want the Wayne Rooney of old back. He was a fantastic player. Now he bores me.

What scandal? You mean using the laws of the game to clean the cards? It was smart, in my opinion. But what do I know, I officially hate football now.

How's that a scandal? It's not the first time or the second time I've seen players doing that.
This time the players were thoughtful and they got the second yellow card by "time wasting" and didn't intentionally made a bad tackle for it.
Very smart play by Mourinho, I can't see why it should bother anyone.

Duarte, sorry for Benfica. I really wanted them to advance from this group, but their finishing last night was terrible and Hapoel took advantage of it.

Yeah man, it's a tragedy. I have no idea what's going on. Our team was very very good last year, but our manager is a dumbass, seriously. He's always afraid of stronger teams. Example, against Liverpool last year he used like 3 central defenders, making us lose the game in a ridiculous way. This year everybody player in the team is playing against their will. This is why football sucks, if a smaller team gets good and tries to improve, its players start to become with a huge ego and just want to go to Real Madrid or Man Utd; until that day they just keep moaning. David Luiz is one of the best central defenders in the world and had a world class season last year, but he's been so poor this season, he looks like a 2nd division player. It's ridiculous, really. And that's happening with a lot of players. It pisses me off.

"We have to be happy with that but we are not stupid. We know that if you go to Tottenham it could be two defeats in nine but if we play like we did against West Ham we can make sure Tottenham don't have a cake-walk.

"And if we can keep Fernando Torres and David Ngog firing we may spring a surprise.

"Wins are hard to come by against the top teams and we have got to admit that Tottenham are no longer the Tottenham of old.

"They are a top team and have recently beaten the European champions (Inter Milan) in the Champions League. It is an expensively assembled team and we are not playing against mugs anymore."

But Hodgson, who succeeded Rafa Benitez in the summer, acknowledges that Liverpool's record of only six wins in 26 matches on the road in the Premier League is a concern.

"The away form has been bad for a long time," he added. "I'm afraid in this league away victories are hard to come by.

"I believe if we continue to play the way we did against West Ham we may get one or two but it is the level of performance which counts."

This is exactly why Roy Hodgson should not be Liverpool manager. The last bit especially. He's basically admitted defeat already.

Dear god, he's been dominant.
Also, 7-0 so far....what's that about the barca score and only in La Liga?

After Robinson's save from Berba, I reckon that this might be it in terms of United goals today. I had hopes of United breaking the club's PL winning record for a while.
