So, any guesses how much of Muse's set will be broadcast? My play TV guide is saying there's special programmes for The Scissor Sisters, Pet Shop Boys etc on Saturday night, but no mention of Muse...that can't be right. There's also stuff on channel 301 (red button) though so who knows.

I never remember Muse being that stingy with broadcasts in the past, it seems to be a new thing once they've got bigger. Glastonbury 04 was broadcast in full, and I imagine the Beeb will be keen to broadcast the entire Pyramid Stage headliners set for each night where possible. I guess it's then up to Muse/Warner/Matt how much of it they want broadcast.

I'm very lucky to be going to Glasto, but agree that in 2004, the BBC must have shown almost all (if not the entire set). I'd liked the Muse I'd heard prior to that, but it's that BBC showing of that set that really got me hooked. I think from a marketing prospective, Warner will see sense and hopefully allow the BBC to show the majority of the set (even if it's in the catch up shows on BBC2/3 etc). Packing my sun cream and wellies now!

Leaving this afternoon at 4pm...its far too long to wait now.
I couldnt sleep properly (partly due to heat, partly due to excitement) and got up at 6am this morning...
Now just a case of sitting and waiting. Will be catching the first half of England which is a bonus.
Anyway just a warning to the guys heading out in anything other than trains this morning...heading from north to south, we set off at about 11am last year, and we got to the festival at about 1:30am Thursday morning. Hours and hours of queueing and travelling at about 0.01 miles every 5 minutes. Not a good experience (but obviously totally worth it).
We're just hoping that by setting off later we miss the bulk of the traffic, and hopefully still arrive at the same time as we did last year, plus the guy driving me down cant get off work till 3ish
Anyway we've got friends that will already be there to save us a decent camping spot
