this is only 10 bucks! (plus a few bucks shipping) i think i should get one. They have another one with just one big crest on the back, but they ran out of my size. Probably trying to ditch all the old merch before the new album comes out.

The one above is pretty neat, but I'm very curious to see what the aesthetic of the new album era stuff is.
I didn't particularly care for a lot of the animal stuff...I ended up getting an Antics-era (the one with the parachutes) shirt instead awhile back, and of course I still rock it on a regular basis :P

ya i didn't like the museum style animal displays either. Interpol usually keep it quite simple and stylish.

It's nice, but I'd really like for them to just tour on their own. I dunno, them touring with U2 makes me question their new direction, a lot  I mean I didn't like it so much with Muse either, but at least they're an aspiring stadium rock act so it made some sense. And plus this means that either a) Their solo tour will get pushed back a little ways because of this or b) This is their little "pre-tour", meaning the album won't even be out until fall-ish

I like it simply because they're doing something again. Yeah U2 don't sound very convincing actually but still, this is Interpol, they're not gonna sell out just because they're playing stadiums and such.

I'm so into Interpol right now. Well, only Specialist . Definitely my third favourite band. Can't wait for the new album.

First couple seconds i though they turned into a western band :P. But then it kicked in at four minutes. Great song.

hmmmmm. maybe i have to listen to it again..... i hope interpol doesn't sound stale on this album. They haven't really changed their sound much, and this new sound really doesn't sound that differnt. If its gonna be TOLBL again, it better breath some new life into it....

why would you want them to change their sound? they're bringing that huge reverb back that we heard on TOTBL. I really do hope it's on the lines of TOTBL because that was their best album. sure it may not be nothing new, but I consider that a good thing...glad they're getting back to their old sound.

i would want them to change their sound a little because their albums all sound the same, with stylistic differences.A whole change sound of album or not argument could go on here. So basically this album might be TOTBL except not as good. I don't want that. I want an album that stands out in its own identity.
Sorry to sound so negative, i'm really loving interpol at the moment and will wait for the whole album before making any more big judgements.
