I guess this is pretty good.
Which date will the DVD be then? That is the question.

I don't think it's so great... 'cos I can't afford it right now! I'm going to 5 of the Stadium shows next year, including Paris 12/6, and I'm officially broke as a result, lol. Meaning I'll just have to wait before I can get a ticket for this one, too. LE SIGH at my lack of funds/Muse constantly adding dates! lol

so is it fairly easy to get a ticket if I'm in Scotland and can't speak French? because this would be an amazing gig for me to go to, I'd make it a long weekend muse on the Friday (also my birthday) seeing the sights on Saturday, then chill/come home on Sunday!

Sure. Standing tickets are often translated as : "Pelouse" "Debout" "Fosse", and seating tickets as "Gradin" "Tribune". But considering its a stadium, some CAT1 / CAT2 / Gold stuff is involved I think, so you got to see the map of the venue etc.

Anyway finding the place in Paris etc is quite easy if you study a underground/subway/"metropolitain" map before, and even if its your birthday mb come over the day before so you come visit a bit?

Im definitely going to the second gig btw.

If I knew for sure that they won't play any other stadium/arena gigs next year I'd go. But right now I'm clueless about what to do.

i know!!! but yeah anyway, good for those who have the chance to go. at the moment i feel that 6 gigs (+possibly glastonbury) will be enough for me but who knows, by june i might end up getting a ticket to this as well SOMEHOW

I guess I can go! Failed to get tickets for June 12th last friday, so I was really sad first. But now all sorrow is gone - I just hope the tickets won't be sold out as fast as last week.... Wish me luck!

I must say that I'm jealous... and wondering how the hell anyone can afford to go to 6 or so stadium gigs. I mean, with travel/hotel arrangements... I can't fathom having that kind of scratch, being in college and all.

Also, I'm getting antsy... when are they announcing North American tour dates?

For me, it's also quite heavy. I'm still a student, my mum is unemployed at the moment. So I can be very lucky to see them every 2 years... I was lucky to see them in Amnéville this month and I guess I must pass on all my christmas presents + birthday presents to afford the Paris tickets. 140€ for two tickets is a hell of a lot of money... and the overnight stay plus the train ticket will cost about 100€ each in addition. It's really hard. But I can't resist...

well as for me i can say, working, working, working, no school so i dont need to pay tuition fees or anything like that, cheap airlines, as cheap hostels as possible or friends abroad so i can get free accommodation but yeah you kinda have to set your priorities with muse being quite high on your list. and saving money takes time, for example i went to quite a many gigs this autumn and i saved for that for more than 1 year.

So the first date sold out? I really didn't think it would, I'm genuinely surprised.

I wonder how the San Siro is selling...

I can honestly tell you it was sold out in a few minutes. Maybe 5? There were only some of the worst seats left...

Maybe the DVD will be for Wembley, but there's already one so i don't think they will make another.
So i hope they will make it for the Stade de France, that means that we would have a great setlist !

I really doubt they will do yet another DVD, and if they do, it wont be another Wembley DVD. I think they'll just leave us with the Glastonbury headline set that will be televised, and any other televised headline sets they do.

I think since 2006 that they got this idea to do someday a big DVD "retrospective" or something, which would contain various footage : backstage, several gigs from every eras from an angle we've never seen them, something exciting like that. Or a 2009-2010 tour with various gigs but not only one. I think the "one big gig" DVD has been done enough.

I've said it before... I think the live DVD for this album should be a concert with a full orchestra. That would be very interesting, and would be completely different from what we've seen. It would be comprised of mostly tracks from The Resistance, with a little bit of BH&R, with a song or two each from the previous albums. It would be lovely.

I can see the setlist:

(Dance of the Knights)
1. Take a Bow
2. Uprising (synth = orchestra)
3. Resistance
4. Bliss (Backing track done by orchestra)
5. Hoodoo
6. Map of the Problematique
7. Starlight (Piano and Backing track done via orchestra)
8. MK Ultra
9. Blackout
10. United States of Eurasia
11. Undisclosed Desires (synth)
12. Cave
13. Dead Star (Think of the backing track done at V)
14. New Born
15. Knights of Cydonia (backing track)

Encore 1:
(We are the Universe)
16-18. Exogenesis 1-3

Encore 2, without orchestra:
19. Unnatural Selection
20. Plug in Baby
21. Supermassive Black Hole
22. Stockholm Syndrome
