Woah okay, I am not one for shameless self advertising but here goes... :P

My band 'Badger's Eyebrow' have released a free, yes that's right, free, downloadable EP on http://badgerseyebrow.bandcamp.com/ ... any plays, downloads, criticisms, feedback, et cetera is appreciated

A bit about the band:

We are composed of four, young people (under 16) and have a (shit) guitarist (myself), a wickedly good bassist, a nutter of a drummer and a quirkey vocalist/pianist.

Our music is a mix of electro, comedy, drum and bass, rock, alternative, and whatever else we think might be hilarious and/or cool!

We're influenced by many things, Muse being one of those things, but we really don't want to just blatantly copy other bands as far as riffs are concerned. It has sort of happened in a few of our messy jams/songs but we are writing new stuff that will hopefully be our proper actual music not some cheap nicked stuff.

Anyway feel free to comment. We are a bit of a joke... and go slightly mental at times, but it's fun! Cheers!

Also, apologies for the dodgy recordings and Showbiz cover... the recording were done in a shed and a living room, and Showbiz is from our first proper gig (although only a support slot :P) with barely any rehearsing... yeah yeah excuses excuses... :P

Just listened on the website.

Nearly died when you said: "quack, quack, yes i'm a duck"

5:14:59 was good, but i felt dragge on a bit, enjoyed the guitar at the end very much though!

Really liked Failing Sish: it was quirky and funny and quite original

tbh, i personally found Where Vestal Virgins Vest a bit dull until the heavier middle 8 sorta section.
I liked the song, just found it a little repetitive as it was just the same riff over and again.

really quite liked would you like a cup of tea: the quality wasn't great (like you said), but it sounded like good, exciting instrumental. torn between this and Failing Sish for the best track!!
/mini review

P.S. guitar on showbiz sounds lush!

Thanks a lot for the feedback dude!

Yeah WVVV does go on a bit :P It's a bit drum and bassy really. We want to record it properly and add lots of interesting noises to keep it fresh, otherwise it does indeed get a bit repetitive...

Would You Like A Cup Of Tea has the catchiest bass I have ever heard but you can barely hear it on the recording on there

Haha Showbiz went quite well for a first gig/second time playing it together. We trashed the PA system though - it kept cutting out because we overpowered it :P and I laugh at my dodgy solo... got a bit too enthusiastic with the tremelo and bends!

Seriously, cheers for the mini-review! Wicked stuff
