I gotta admit that Im a little bit confused.
Sometimes it seems to me as if Im just being used.
Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise.
If I don stand my own ground, how can I find my way out of this maze?

Well, the whole album is 55 minutes long, but it's split up into parts, like Cassandra Gemini for The Mars Volta (It's one song but cut up into 8 parts, lasting 30+ minutes)

truly am getting anxious for this album. 
That was a really nice insight into the new album and Steve's process. He seems like a really complex guy who also likes to think thoroughly about the music he's making. Really looking forward to the new album. If it's Time Flies being played in the background of the video, i'm already liking the prospect of it's release

A new track released that was supposed to end up on In Absentia but was deemed "too cheerful". I just purchased the song and will be giving it a few listens, then i'll share my thoughts on the piece soon, i'm anxious to say the least.

:O anesthetize is amazing when it's instrumental because you can just listen to that amazing middle section of the song, but listening to the whole thing is amazing, my favourite song atm by far.
I do like the new song though, the one from In Absentia, seems really nice.

Yea.. Even though I like Muse more.. It's starting to seem like The Resistance just won't be nearly as good as The Incident.

First of all I've found Blackfield about a year ago. After listening to them I've found that Blackfield is just a project of Steven Wilson and Aviv Geffen. Well, and then I've decided to download some music of Porcupine Tree. And I definitely think: it's something awesome! Love them.

So has anyone be able to grab a hold on the Time Flies single edit? It was supposed to be freely available on the Roadrunner website last week, but that didn't happen. The only way to get a download link apparently is to pre-order the 108 dollar super duper limited special edition.

Yeah, that was my plan as well. But I heard the instrumental of TF playing in the background of a video someone posted the link of in this thread and it made me want to hear the actual thing

Agreed. My plan is to turn off all the lights in my room, and play both albums straight through while laying on my bed.
