But when I looked a certain portrait today, the guy in it looked familiar, with his red jacket, Manson Guitar and Wembley backdrop.
Yep, Matt Bellamy of all people is currently gracing his glorious self on my reception walls. I cannot for the life of me remember the artist's name (I'm sure it's Amanda something, something tells me I'll be searching the creativity sub-forum today to see if the same pic is here) but good god was it a great painting. And with it came my typical fanboy reaction, along with my mate who noticed it first but didn't want to look too stupid reacting by himself in the reception.
So Amanda...unknown surname, thanks for making my otherwise average day, somewhat more Muse-y.

I'm celebrating my second day of happiness today after a long, hard, stressful month of bullshitness.
Considering what happened to me two nights ago, you'd think I'd feel like absolute shite. Realistically, I should. But I'm just too happy that all that happened was just OVER and I could get on with my life again. And I have some rather awesome people to talk to who make my moods even better and yeah, things are nice for a change Looking forward to my other friends getting back from holiday on Monday I think it is. They're gonna be freaked when my response to 'how are you?' isn't 'meh' or worse
EDIT: This was my 6,000 post! I'm glad it was a good one, for a chaaange.

Looked again, apparently there are three (count 'em, three) pictures of Matt on the wall. The two I missed are a lot smaller but really, really cool. There's also a bunch of really good pics too, but alas, being the Muse fanboy, all eyes on Matt.
And I also bothered to remember the artist's name, Amanda Murphy, top notch  .
Oh and on the subject of happy; the weather is great, the weekend despite there being no plans set in stone looks promising and yeah, at the mo', life in general is grand.
Its a fascinating voyage of pain and despair that leaves you emotionally drained and satisfied, like fucking a burning dolphin.

Anyway, i am FINALLY going to see harry potter today and i have also booked tickets to go to london with my friend and sister for my sister's birthday pressie trip. I got us madame tussauds tickets for £12.50 too which is about half price I love doing things on the cheap, a little bit of research and then everything becomes so much cheaper/fun!
