meh u don't get it, We would probably do an almost all out ditch on iraq in a month if we had too to move the troops around

Sorry, I meant Aghanistan. You still have plenty of troops there and not all your troops have left Iraq yet. Either way, the next few months should be very interesting.

Has anyone read their forum? It's absolutely hilarious, just a load of party propaganda. It's also funny to see they're all from the UK.

Yes indeed a great achievement that has made the imperialists
tremble with fear and has shattered the arrogance and pride of
the imperialists.

Submarines with missiles would be hitting N korea within 30 minutes tops of N korea made a move with nukes (trust me they are there). long range bombers would be fucking N korea up the ass in about 10 hours if we didn't use nukes. aircraft carriers would reposition to N korea coast from the Indian ocean in about 3 days, strategic bombing begins. actual marine invasion in about 30 days, would have to take some men from Afghanistan.

i hate how we have tried to be the police of the world and our military is unnecessarily big but it does provide me with a sense of security

An entertaining load of propaganda on that forum. I was especially amused how they referenced North Korea as a "Democratic State". I don't seem to recall the last time they had elections, or when their leadership actually cared for the well-being of their citizens.

Doesn't really matter, all those points are moot really. IF (and it's a big if) North Korea did launch a Nuke, plenty more would be sent back their way. And then, like has already been said, it would b e mutually assured destruction. There would be no War, and no fighting, and certainly no "invasion". It would be the nukes, and then a very quick destruction of most of the World.

Merry May everybody!

Ok, but I seriously doubt it would be a no Nuke war. To be honest, there is a tiny chance of any kind of war happening. Kim-Jong Il may be a little mental, but he isn't stupid. He knows that if he launches, then he has at most twenty-four hours before him and his country are wiped off the face of the earth. That isn't in his best interests. Like has already been said, this test is all about power. He wants to show to the World that North Korea can kick it with the big guys, and that they are a nuclear power too. He may threaten to launch, but no country will launch a nuclear attack on another unless we get a hell of a lot more fucked up than we are now. Do you think the US would have dropped the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki if the Japanese had the weapons to fire back?

It wouldn't result in nuclear warfare unless North Korea fire one at the South. Their Nukes wouldn't be able to reach the UK or the US anyway, but it would pretty much be certain that we'd step in to try and stop that happening.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/8074527.stm

'On Friday North Korea warned of "self-defence" measures if the UN Security Council imposed sanctions over its nuclear test.

"If the UN Security Council provokes us, our additional self-defence measures will be inevitable," the foreign ministry said in a statement carried by official media.'

They really are trying to provoke something here. I don't even know why, there's no way they'd be able to put up much of a fight against any superpower. I think we'll be seeing the collapse/ defeat of another Communist regime in the next year if they keep acting like they are at the moment.

There is no reason to create on a bomb or missile if there is no intention to use it, so it's incredibly suspect.

(I could put something really funny and intelligent here, but that would just be showing off.)

You say they wouldn't have a chance against a superpower? Think about the last time the US went into Vietnam or in fact the last Korean war. You can get into technicalities but the US got its arse whipped

They fight a completely different war that US and UK troops aren't really trained or equipped for

Sorry, I meant as in nuclear warfare. We'd nuke the shit out of them before it came to the US or the UK taking troops over there.

The US didn't get its arse whipped in the Korean war, but I understand what you're saying.

Well in the case of Nuclear war there won't really be a winner. If one country uses it then it's very likely every other fucker will join in

And the US did take a HUGE amount of casualties in the Korean war, Ok they didn't 'lose' per say, but they certainly didn't win either

Yeah, we've got to wait and see how Russia and China feel about it. I think the North Koreans will make a move on the South before anyone else gets involved.

They did take casualties, but China's losses were far bigger. No-one won that war anyway really, it pretty much ended up the same way as it began. Neither country took that much land from each other.

Actually, some 40,000 US troops are currently stationed directly along the border.

The US promptly lost its shit and declared war on the very notion of terrorism, entering into an armed conflict against an abstract concept like only America can.

And after we beat Terrorism, were gonna beat Drugs! Then were going to take on Sadness!

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea's military warned South Korea and the United States on Friday of "unprecedented nuclear strikes" over a report the two countries plan to prepare for possible instability in the totalitarian country.

^Radiation makes stuff shine green, not silver, stupid.

This really isn't great news, if North Korea decide that they want to use a nuclear weapon, then we are all pretty much fucked, in the worst kind of way.
