I don't know why, but the first time I heard Take a Bow I didn't like it very much. I didn't listen to it for ages. Then I heard the Reading performance and fell in love with it. Today it's one of my favourites

I used to skip over Hoodoo, but now I love it.
I think it's the strings and epic piano part that finally won me over.
I support Musestep

This is one of those rare albums for me where the songs that I liked/disliked on first listen have never changed from the first listen to now. Knights, Map, City of Delusion and Supermassive Black Hole are all still great, and Invincible, Soldiers Poem and Assassin are still cack.

Exo-politics, I hated it, but it grew on me and now its one of my favourite songs on the album.
You got some nerve, coming here.
I hate to agree with Barnaby, but the fact is, hes right.

Take a Bow. I love it now, but only when I listen to the album. I hate it if it's just randomly played.

Probably starlight, although recently i've gone back to not really caring for it again! Still hate the genericness of the exo-politics riff though, and soldiers poem is certainly no classic. The rest = brilliance!

I voted Supermassive but it should've been MotP. Didn't get that song for ages, now I think it's amazing!

SMBH was basically the third song by Muse I ever heard. (NOT CUZ A TWILIGHT) I did NOT like it at first, but it grew on me a lot. It's not on BH&R, but I couldn't handle Micro Cuts when I heard it the first time. My tender ears were not ready for what Matt had planned for me. Love it now.
Dont Worry. As long as theres dandelions, there will always be clovers.
Everything about you is so easy to love.

Hoodoo. At first I wasn't really convinced of this song. But now I can't get enough

Hoodoo........
For us its always been about the band and the music. We dont really want to cross that line and be famous for anything other than music. None of us are interesting enough to be famous for anything else anyway. - Chris Wolstenholme

i didn't like TAB, Assassin and Hoodoo... Probably because of their 'strange' beginnings, but i love these tracks now! (:

The whole BHAR took me a while to like. When I first got into Muse, it was already out for a year, but I liked the old songs better. So first I heard Starlight and I didn't really like it, then Take a Bow and the same happened. By the time I heard the album entirely I already liked both, but Exo-Politics and Soldier's Poem took me a looong time to like. I still don't know if I like Exo-Politics.
