Nobody consulted me about this... I don't get why you guys can't wait until the tape is sold. It's like you keep doing things to annoy me Tom... Who's rip did you release? I can't download from where I am right now.

Asking Muse fans to stop being impatient is like asking water to stop being wet

Heh, Matt's voice has definitely... improved. And I'm loving the Execution Commentary outro!

I was going to wait for the entire tape to be uploaded, but couldn't resist. And Matt's voice has vastly improved.

I don't understand why this annoys you so much.

I think the guitar sounds better in this demo version than the Hullabaloo soundtrack version

I sort of see where fireska is coming from. I think it would be best to sell it before anymore is relseased. If the tracks are released first, it would devalue the tape as the tracks would be available to everyone. The whole point of someone else buying it for so much is because the tracks are unreleased.

If you bought the tape would you not be slightly annoyed if you found the rips online the next day?

Its one track, it does not matter.

I think the tape will still sell well. I mean it's Muse, and there are many collectors who will spend big money on that

People have all the songs on the MM ep, yet it still sells for £100 on ebay.

Point proven.

Stop bitching.

It's the only tape of possibly their first recording ever. It's going to sell.

Of course it will sell, you see singles with the b-sides on hullabaloo going for quite a bit in single standards. People are willing to pay.

I TOTALLY AGREE with previous notable points about releasing any further material from this demo cassette. I totally appreciate the whole 'grand and masterminded' revivication of this material, it was a brilliant idea to obtain it in the way it was - but think smart, musers!!!

You currently have something of highly poignant MUSE history here...its worth will be massively undermined if everything is available for download, in mp3 files!! You only need to take a look at how many times something of particular interest is downloaded.

It is most definately collectible, and marketed the right way through accredited B.P.I auction traders, or similar outlets it WILL fetch good money.

Please please DO NOT simply polish it off and wack it back on ebay...come on market it as the landmark material it is and nothing less....

But most importantly, you CANNOT upload any more material until it is sold and the buyer has had the privilege of 'listening to it in its entirety' first.....you know what i'm saying, right?

Good Luck. I am sure you have someone who knows what they are doing at the helm of this 'operation'.

It seems you and Brian are both of the opinion then that the buyer should not be made aware of 'the plan' - and hence effectively support swindling them out of a lot of money. Please read the long thread in the general section

Wow, I never thought I would say this.

But my singing is actually better than Matts here.

I know this is when he was young and less experienced, but still...

Still good though.

i completely agree that the future buyer should be told of what the plans are with the ripped copy of the tape. its only fair we not here to rip someone else off but purely to make it available for everyone else. which in a way does take some value off the tape because those tracks arent available anywhere else and now they will be.

I love your posts. They're impossible to read, as every word has at least 15 syllables!

On another note, Matt's singing in 'Crazy Days' is awful. Love it!
