Ive seen them at Enchanted Forest and they were great, however it doesnt matter if their playing or a DJ is spinning their tracks, i prefer it whith a bit of a mix than the straight up they gave live but are a fairly epic groub for D&B/Breaks.

Has anyone heard their new song, Propane Nightmares? The vocal melody is quite Muse-y, it's fantastic! Can't wait for their new album!

Makes me wonder about the new Muse approach, whether they're aiming for something loosely along these lines. *Ponders*! Discuss.

Voodoo People, Pendulum remix.

The be-all and end-all of remixes.

OH MY GOD, THAT IS THE FUCKING GREATEST SONG EVER.

Srsly. Pendulum multiplied by Prodigy = some serious groovin'.

Blood Sugar is such a brilliant tune.

Their new album has been leaked apparently. It's supposed to be more Rock-Band orientated and less Drum and Bass orientated when compared to their last album. So I guess the whole album could be what Muse might be approaching. Who knows...

Anyways, I'm gonna download it now, coz I'm impatient and can't wait another week :P

So that means Muse and Pendulum would sort of be swapping genres, if you get me?

Muse started off more as a rock band, now they're becoming more electronic, and Pendulum started off more electronic and want to become more like a rock band.

lol!

I can imagine Chris really going for it in a Pendulum style bassline, but I can't imagine Matt singing in a 'Tarantula' style somehow... :P

Yeah

But to be honest, if they were too much like Pendulum then they wouldn't be Muse! They need to retain their Museyness.

Oooh this song, 'Different', on the new album, sounds quite Muse-y. Even has a few falsetto bits Matt style! If Muse do a song like this, it'll be amazing!

The riff from Different sounds like the ending riff for Knights of Cydonia a little bit.

Anyway

I absolutely love this band, I like how diverse they are and don't care about switching between DJing and playing actual instruments.

Saw them at Bristol Carling. Great live and it was manic. Really fun times.

Bought it on release day, is such a great album. Has anyone seen the footage from Radio 1's big weekend. I really wanna know what Rob Swire was playing during Propane nightmares, I know it was a Keytar-esque instrument but I really wanna know exactly what make it is.It looks sooooo cool.

I've never seen anything like that before I saw that performance. From what I can remember, Rob didn't strum it like a normal guitar, I think he just tapped everything. But yeah, on a Pendulum fansite, (pendulumlive.com :P) They compiled a bunch of questions for the band, and one of the questions were what equipment they use. So we'll prob find out what it is whenever those questions get answered.

What's everybody's favourite track/s on the album so far? Mine are 'The Other Side' and 'The Tempest'. Both a real treat for the ears and quite epic

I'm loving 'The Other Side' too, love the intro, sounds great loud. But there are others which are great too, I hadn't heard Propane Nightmares before I bought the album so I'm enjoying that too and obviously, Granite.

Found the instrument on this site clicky

That's what I thought! It must be that Absolution-sounding guitar part and the warbley bassline has a certain Hysteria quality. I love Different and The Other Side.
