These are just provisional. I've been talking a friend through doing it over the internet so for the time being its just Guitar and band+bass, recorded through analog cables. I've ordered a sound card with optical inputs which should be here this week so I can go over there and get pristine quality digital copies and hopefully figure out how to record the bass part too. So stay tuned! Exo-politics coming soon too.

Sadly I don't think Just the drums is posssible. I doesn't appear that this is a stereo track, and it would appear that the spliting up of the band track isn't possible at this point. In the future faremonkeylover may be able to get three tracks like Knights of Cydonia (guitar, bass, everything else) but that would be the closets to just drums (it would have drums, vocals, synth, piano, etc)

It's not stereo because it's recorded off the TV of someone playing the game. We should have the actual tracks extracted from the game (with no loss in quality) soon enough, which will be nice 
And there's no chance of getting the drums/vocals/synths separated, unfortunately... that's why rock band is better

If they are all the genuine tracks, I see absolutely no reason why they shouldn't be validated, I haven't been able to do them myself, and if the source tracks are there, ready, I don't see why I should need to.
