BT Digital Music Awards

A crowd of over a thousand attended the awards ceremony at the Roundhouse in Camden, London on October 3rd, including celebrities, media and music industry professionals. The night was hosted by Edith Bowman and big winners on the night included Muse and Thom Yorke, who scooped two awards each (admin: actually, Muse only won one award, we won the other :wink). Other winners included Lily Allen as best Pop Act, The Streets, Lemar, Lorraine and the White Stripes. Peter Gabriel was handed the Pioneer Award for his work within the digital music industry in a first for the BT Digital Music Awards.

Channel 4 (in the UK) are broadcasting a special BT Digital Music Awards show on Sunday 22nd October at 12:00am. The show is hosted by Alex Zane and features performances, interviews and prize-winners from the event. The show will also be repeated on Sunday 28th at 12:30am.

As you might be aware, Lewis and I were there to accept the award on the night - tune in to watch us make complete fools out of ourselves, and to catch the awkward kiss between myself and Edith Bowman.

Check out SYS for photos of us accepting the award and drunken photos with Alex Zane.
We will be uploading a video of the Muse categories later.

Sam and Dan accepted the award for Muse as Best Rock Artist (who are, respectively, from Warner UK and How Splendid).
